Audio Engineer – Part Time

The Audio Engineer positions at Covenant Church will create a well-balanced mix and deliver sound that lives up to the standard of Covenant Church. The Audio Engineer’s goal is to go unnoticed. At both campuses they will be responsible for knowing the routing of each worship center, taking care of all worship team needs from an audio standpoint and mic’ing the speaking pastor / speaker. They will also be the point of contact for the campus youth and kids’ room if they have any issues so an ability to troubleshoot is a must. Will also be responsible for training and developing Dream Teamers to help build the audio team. The primary responsibility will be on Sunday’s and may include other meetings such as Staff Chapel. There may be additional special events and projects that will be scheduled through the central support team.

This position is part-time (never more than 29 hours/week) with non-traditional work schedules and are not guaranteed a specific on-going schedule or number of hours each week.

Event Childcare Associate

The main role of this position is the care and nurture of children ages 0 through elementary age during special church classes and events during the week and occasionally on weekends. This role is part-time working up to 14 hours/week and has non-traditional working hours which are scheduled as needed and does not guarantee a number of hours or length of employment. This position will report directly to the Event Childcare Coordinator.

The Event Childcare Associate is expected to continue volunteering in their active serving area. This role is not intended to take away from an individual’s serving the Lord with their time, talent and treasure.

NextGen Worship Director

Purpose:

The Creative Arts & NextGen Worship Director is a champion of training and leadership development within Covenant Church Worship and Creative. As a primary worship leader, they are also a vital part of leading vision-aligned worship environments that help people encounter the presence of God and respond passionately.

Weekend Responsibilities (Services)
  • Serve as worship leader for Sunday services in main worship environments with regular rhythms in NextGen
    environments.
  • Assist with regular weekend services, contributing to the overall worship experience.
  • Effectively lead the NextGen worship environments in collaboration with the Worship and Creative Pastors,
    ensuring spiritual and musical preparation.
  • Execute and implement central worship programming: preparing appropriate flow, transitions, ministry
    moments, and creative elements; managing and updating plans in Planning Center (making sure they have
    keys, charts, notes, etc.).
  • Facilitate regular rhythms for in-service evaluation and assessments of teams (live or via video playback)
  • Set the tone by arriving early, ready to engage and prepare the atmosphere for worship.
  • Develop and deploy strategies for age-appropriate feedback with kids and student dream team members.
  • Collaborate with the larger worship team to maintain a cohesive and impactful worship culture.

Mid-Week Responsibilities (between Sundays)

  • Serve as a primary worship leader for Youth and Young Adults services.
  • Serve as a primary liaison to the NextGen ministries providing leadership to the worship and creative planning,
    programming, and environments in those areas.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate ministry areas and leaders to identify leadership opportunities and venues,
    facilitate the engagement and empowering of growing leaders, and implement best practices across all
    NextGen worship environments.
  • Establish rhythms for open, direct, and clear communication with ministry area leaders, teams, and parents.
  • Contribute to creative planning for services and special events including cohesive and impactful song sets for
    Sunday services across all campuses.
  • Assist with leading weekly team nights – collaborating with the Worship & Creative Pastors to create and
    integrate content, training, and tools for musical and spiritual discipleship.
    Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading worship for youth and young adult services.
  • Proficient in the usage of Digital Audio Workspace (i.e. Ableton) in order to build sets for each service.

Children’s Ministry Curriculum Coordinator

The Children’s Ministry Curriculum Coordinator collaborates closely with Children’s Pastors, Directors, and Coordinators to research, develop, create, adapt, and implement “life-giving” age-appropriate curriculum for Children’s Ministry. Covenant Kids Ministry Director

The Covenant Kids Ministry Director will work closely with the children’s pastors and serve as oversight for the Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary Coordinators. This position will help manage, equip, and empower staff and Dream Teamers to their fullest potential. This role will help coordinate the planning, logistics, and resource support needed for all special events and services at the South campus.   • Willingness to learn new methods and software.
  • Must be able to work non-traditional and additional hours (as needed).
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to maintain continuous sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
  • Must be able to continually turn and flex or rotation of the wrist(s), hands, fingers, and spine.
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid State Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must pass background/criminal history check.
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.
  • Bilingual + (additional language proficiency is a plus).
