Audio Engineer – Part Time

The Audio Engineer positions at Covenant Church will create a well-balanced mix and deliver sound that lives up to the standard of Covenant Church. The Audio Engineer’s goal is to go unnoticed. At both campuses they will be responsible for knowing the routing of each worship center, taking care of all worship team needs from an audio standpoint and mic’ing the speaking pastor / speaker. They will also be the point of contact for the campus youth and kids’ room if they have any issues so an ability to troubleshoot is a must. Will also be responsible for training and developing Dream Teamers to help build the audio team. The primary responsibility will be on Sunday’s and may include other meetings such as Staff Chapel. There may be additional special events and projects that will be scheduled through the central support team.

This position is part-time (never more than 29 hours/week) with non-traditional work schedules and are not guaranteed a specific on-going schedule or number of hours each week.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Must have a solid understand of the culture of Covenant Church and our vision
  • Responsible for ensuring a smooth service from an audio stand point
  • Develop relationships with the worship team to ensure all their needs are being met
  • Ability to troubleshoot audio gear and routing issues
  • Ability to recruit and develop new dream teamer’s to join the audio team
  • Develop relationships with the Pastors and leaders at each campus you are serving
  • Must be able to work alone and with a team
  • Knowledgeable on the Yamaha M7 and digi design consoles
  • An appetite for knowledge is a plus

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Compliance to assigned work schedule
  • Detail oriented and capable of high volume of multi-tasking
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Must accurately perform clerical and administrative duties (typing, spelling, grammar, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Advanced: Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be Customer Service oriented
  • Must maintain the strictest level of confidentiality
  • Extensive organizational and time management skills
  • Must possess the ability to produce in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess a “can-do” attitude with the ability to multi-task

Event Childcare Associate

The main role of this position is the care and nurture of children ages 0 through elementary age during special church classes and events during the week and occasionally on weekends. This role is part-time working up to 14 hours/week and has non-traditional working hours which are scheduled as needed and does not guarantee a number of hours or length of employment. This position will report directly to the Event Childcare Coordinator.

The Event Childcare Associate is expected to continue volunteering in their active serving area. This role is not intended to take away from an individual’s serving the Lord with their time, talent and treasure.

Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Actively connect and develop good relationship with the families (new and current families)
    • Manage availability in PCO Services and respond in a timely manner to accept serving and working shifts
    • Track time and hours worked, checking in and checking out from shifts
    • Communicate the vision and mission of Kid’s ministry to parents
    • Participate in meetings about special events/classes as needed for childcare
    • Ensure the quality of excellence is upheld at childcare event/class
    • Ensure all cleaning and classroom resets are done before the end of each childcare shift
    • Help create an atmosphere where children will feel this is “the best part of their week”
    • Adhere to and maintain proper safety protocols outlined in the Kid’s Ministry Policies & Procedures In conjunction with Ministry Safe

NextGen Worship Director

Purpose:

The Creative Arts & NextGen Worship Director is a champion of training and leadership development within Covenant Church Worship and Creative. They have an emphasis on cultivating exponential growth of leaders in NextGen worship environments and opportunities for fresh creative arts expressions. As a primary worship leader, they are also a vital part of leading vision-aligned worship environments that help people encounter the presence of God and respond passionately.

TLC TEAM / FULL TIME POSITION
