Campus Youth Director
Youth Ministry Team / Full-Time Position
The purpose of this role is to facilitate and coordinate details of campus youth department in support of and as direct by the campus Youth Pastors and staff. Efficiently manage communication between the youth team, staff, and members. Assist Youth Pastors in the organization and implementation of various ministry projects from inception to completion. Will additionally provide general office administrative support for the Youth department and its pastors, leaders, volunteers, and members along with various other day-to-day campus requirements.
The Campus Youth Director must exhibit the following three traits:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and deliver sermons for weekly services
- Recruit, develop and manage volunteer teams consisting of both youth and adults
- Oversee all campus youth small groups
- Develop relationship with local school administration to coordinate school campus visits, leading clubs, outreach, and teaching character education programs – any way to be a resource and influence in the schools
- Oversee Dream Team Interviews and screening process
- Occasionally schedule resources, setup registrations, and execute events or outreaches utilizing all platforms such as PCO and others
- Occasionally called upon to run errands getting materials for services or events.
- Meet regularly with Youth Pastor to strategize and evaluate ministry goals.
- Send emails weekly to parents and volunteers providing updates in Legendary Youth.
- Write devotionals monthly.
- Help organize, setup, and conduct school
- Lead meetings with local youth dream team leaders
- Coordinate creative needs for all campus events and for local services and events
- Coordinator and communicate with all other campus directors
- Other duties to assist Youth, other departments or campuses as needed
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- A love and calling toward ministry to Youth and families
- Ability to speak on stage
- Supervise multiple projects effectively

- Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail
- Ability to think and act independently with a high degree of professionalism, discretion and strict level of confidentiality
- Must be a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable and functional in technical writing, including consistent and correct use of tense, grammar/spelling & terminology that is interesting and varied
- Strong proof-reading skills to produce error-free documents
- Experience in problem solving
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, probe for understanding, and work in collaboration with others to achieve desired results
- Detail oriented and capable of high volume of multi-tasking
- Proven experience in office environment and accurately perform clerical and administrative duties (typing, spelling, grammar, etc.)
- Experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment.
- Must possess the ability to produce in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a “can-do” attitude with the ability to multi-task
- Must exhibit a professional and pleasant demeanor
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years’ experience +
- PCO +

- Must be able to continually turn & flex or rotation of the wrist(s), hands, fingers and spine
- Must be able to lift 30+ lbs.
- Must be 18 years of age and have valid State Driver’s License
- Must pass background/criminal history check
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
